Islam was spread via the silk road because not only were goods traded and sold through the silk road, but ideas, culture, and religion spread as well through this massive trading network.

Trade in the Silk Road, trade with Malay Islands, and trade with Africa.

Islam spread beyond the Middle East through trade routes, intermarriage, and the work of missionaries. Not only did traders exchange goods, but they also shared Islamic teachings, which were further disseminated through local adoption and political alliances. This multi-faceted approach allowed Islam to adapt to various cultures while maintaining its core beliefs.
