What is greater, \(\pi\) or \(\frac{22}{7}\)?

22/7 is bigger than (pi).
But it's only about 0.04 percent bigger, so it's a great number to use in place of (pi), without too much inaccuracy at all.

7 22 is greater than π , with 7 22 ≈ 3.142857 and π ≈ 3.14159 . This means 7 22 is approximately 0.04 percent larger than π . While both values are close, π is the exact value used in mathematics.
