The answer is 859. Because 9 is the fifth odd number counted and I know 8 is the number in the hundreds place. So I added the two and deducted it from 22 which was 5. 8+5+9=22

The 3-digit number that rounds to 900 is 859. The ones place is 9 (the 5th odd number), the hundreds place is 8, and the digits sum up to 22. Thus, the number is confirmed as 859.
