There are three numbers \(a\), \(b\), and \(c\), where \(a > b\) and \(b > c\). Describe the positions of the numbers on a number line.

Asked by rhyahel03

Answer (2)

Number c is leftmost on the number line as it is less than both other numbers, a is to the far right as it is the largest of the three, while b exists in between the two.

On a number line, given the conditions b"> a > b and c"> b > c , the positions will be arranged as c < b < a . Thus, c is the leftmost number, b is in the middle, and a is the rightmost number.
