Back in the late 18th century, all the way in to the mid 20th century, women were viewed as the person who would stay at home, cook, and/or take care of the kids while the husband worked. Nowadays, in most countries, women and men are viewed as equal, and they can have the same jobs as each other with the same pay.

Women's political status has transformed significantly from the late 18th century to today, moving from exclusion and domestic roles to active participation and leadership. Key milestones include gaining the right to vote in the 20th century and the feminist movements advocating for equality. While women have made great strides, challenges such as representation and the pay gap still remain.
