James’ hands are 0.17 meters as he measured it while Jennifer’s hands measures 0.165 meters.
Now, whose hands is bigger.
=> 0.17 meters > 0.165 meters
=> Therefore James’ hands are bigger compare to Jennifer’s hands, because James got a bigger value of hundredths place than of Jennifer.
Though Jennifer’s hands measurement can be rounded up to 0.17, still by default it was James who measured bigger than her.
We’re talking about the actual size of their hands, not the approximate.

James's hand, measuring 0.17 meters, is larger than Jennifer's hand, which measures 0.165 meters, as 0.17 is greater than 0.165. The comparison shows that the values are significant enough to determine whose hand is bigger. Thus, it is clear that James has the larger hand.
