What is the definition of the term 'clone'?

A clone is a copy or a genetically identical being.
For example, if I were to **clone **myself, I would have a genetically identical being that looked and acted the same as me. We would have similar thought patterns and such. Much like having a sibling, brother or sister, except an identical copy of yourself.

A 'clone' is a genetically identical copy of an organism. Clones can occur naturally or be created through scientific methods like somatic cell nuclear transfer. This concept has significant implications in biology, agriculture, and medicine.
