Solve the inequality and show your work:

\[ -(7c - 18) - 2c > 0 \]

Answer (2)

-(7c-18)-2c> 0 First you have to distribute the minus sign in order to combine like terms EX: -7c+18-2c> 0 then combine like terms which would get you -9c and solve for c
Ex: -9c +18> 0 then minus 18 from both sides to get -18 Next divide -18 by -9 to have c<2 because when you divide by a negative the signs would flip

To solve the inequality 0"> − ( 7 c − 18 ) − 2 c > 0 , we simplify and isolate the variable to find that c < 2 . This means any value of c less than 2 is a solution.
