so how many does he have left
25-16=9 9 floors left
the want a percentage so 9 out of 25 percent is out of 100 a hack for this specific problem is that 25 is exactly 1/4 of 100 so 9/25 times 1=the same thing so 9/25 times 4/4 (simplifies to 1)=(9 times 4)/(25 times 4) 36/100 this is out of 100 so 36%
of course there is a legit way of solving this problem but this is a hack (this works for factors of 100 like 2,4,5,10,20,25,50)

I believe the answer would be 36%. So, let's start with fractions. Giovanni is on the 16th floor out of 25; so, 16/25. Now, if we divide 16 by 25, it will give us a decimal, which is .64. Multiply this by 100, and we have a percent! So, the 16th floor is 64% up the building, if that makes sense. After that, just subtract 64 from 100 to get the difference: 36%. I really hope this helps!

Giovanni has 9 floors remaining to reach his grandmother's apartment on the 25th floor. This is 36% of the total 25 floors in the building. Therefore, he has 36% left to go.
