Hades was brother to Zeus and the Guardian of the Underworld. He was the keeper of souls, but not necessarily an evil person.

Hades is the god of the Underworld in Greek mythology and is one of the three brothers including Zeus and Poseidon. Known also as Pluto in Roman mythology, he rules over the realm of the dead, which is also called Hades. A significant myth involves his abduction of Persephone, which explains seasonal changes in Greek culture.
