How many stars are there in America's flag?

Asked by donny00

Answer (3)

There are 50 stars in the United States Flag. These stars are placed inside the blue rectangle situated on the upper left-hand corner of the flag - when facing the flag. They are white so stand out against the blue background. The stars are arranged in nine rows; six-star rows alternating with five-star rows. Each star represents one of the states in the USA. There are fifty stars, therefore, there are fifty states in the United States of America.

there are 50 stars on the flag because each star represents a state (ex: alabama, arizona, california, etc...)

The American flag contains 50 stars, each symbolizing a state in the U.S. The stars are set in a blue field, also known as the 'union,' while the 13 stripes represent the original colonies. Together, they reflect America's history and unity as a nation.
