What happens to the magnetic domains in a material when the material is placed in a strong magnetic field?

if it is diamagnetic then it magnetise opposite to magnetic field if paramagnetic it weekly magnetise in direction of magnetic field if ferromagnetic it strongly magnetise in direction of magnetic field

When a strong magnetic field is applied to a ferromagnetic material, its magnetic domains begin to align with the field, which can lead to a strong net magnetization. Some domains may grow at the expense of others, and this effect can lead to permanent magnetization. This behavior is different from paramagnetic and diamagnetic materials, which do not exhibit such strong or permanent magnetization effects.
