How are clouds related to the water cycle and storms?

Clouds are evaporated water from Lakes, Oceans, Rivers, any body of water. When the water is evaporated and the clouds cannot hold the droplets anymore, it produces rain. So Evaporation and Rain/Snow

Clouds are related to the water cycle because they take part in condensation , which means the sun that evaporates the water that then goes into the clouds, cleans the water. Clouds also participate in precipitation , which is basically rain.
Clouds provide lightning, and rain, which is most causes of thunderstorms.
