We see black colour in absence of light. Black colour absoorbs all the light, ( just opposite of white) and hence we do not see any colour. Black colour is also related to darkness.
We see black because it is the color we perceive in the absence of light. Black objects absorb most of the light and reflect very little, resulting in our eyes sending few signals to the brain, which we interpret as black. The perception of black is also associated with darkness where light is limited.
