-- toasting bread -- cooking on an electric stove -- blow-drying hair, with warm air that blows over an electrical heat coil -- curling iron (do girls use those any more?) -- electric heater keeps your feet warm under the desk in the Winter -- electric coffee percolator -- car cigarette lighter -- electric soldering iron to work on little electronic things -- infrared or 'heat' lamp, used to keep food warm in restaurants -- electric frying pan or griddle -- electric engine jacket, used in Winter in Alaska to keep car engine warm overnight; when you park your car there in January, you either leave it running, or else plug it in.

Tungsten bulb, Electric Iron Press...As electricity passes through the wires(filament or nichrome respectively) they heats them and as a result filament lightens or Iron Press heats up.

The heating effect of electric current, known as joule heating, has many applications, including toasters, electric stoves, hair dryers, and soldering irons. This effect occurs as electricity flows through conductors, generating heat as a byproduct. These applications enhance convenience in cooking, heating, and even automotive technologies.
