Answer (2)

e is the fundamental charge of a proton and of an eletron Its value is e = 1,6 x 10⁻¹⁹ C
We say that electric charge is quantized due it only can exist as a multiple of "e"
So Q = n.e
Charge is obtained multiplying a certain number of charges (n) by the fundamental charge (e)

The equation Q = n e describes how total electric charge (Q) is determined by the number of elementary charges (n) multiplied by the fundamental charge (e), which is approximately 1.60 × 1 0 − 19 coulombs. Charge is quantized, meaning it exists only in whole number multiples of this fundamental charge. Thus, if you know the count of elementary charges, you can easily find the total charge on an object.
