The new leaf will contain 14 chromosomes, because during mitosis, a cell makes an exact copy of itself. Therefore, the number of the chromosomes in that cell stay the same.

After mitosis, a new leaf cell of the Salmonberry will contain 14 chromosomes, the same number as the original cell. Mitosis copies the chromosomes and divides them evenly between two identical daughter cells. Thus, the chromosome number remains unchanged at 14 for each cell.
