The modern era differs from the post-classical era in that it is characterized by technological advancements, political shifts towards democracy, and a more dynamic economic system. While the post-classical era focused on agriculture and feudalism, the modern era embraced industrialization and capitalism. Furthermore, social structures evolved from strict hierarchies to a focus on individual rights and egalitarian values.
