If its tail weighs 4 kg, its head weighs as much as its tail and half its body, and its body weighs as much as its head and tail together, how much does the fish weigh?

Answer (2)

Body Weight: w=(t+0.5w)+t Tail Weight: t=4 Head Weight: t+0.5w
w=t+0.5w+t
But t=4,
w=4+0.5w+4
w-0.5w=8
0.5w=8
Therefore: w=16.

The weight of the fish is calculated as 32 kg, using the given weights of its tail, head, and body. The tail weighs 4 kg, the head weighs 12 kg, and the body weighs 16 kg. The total weight is found by adding the weights of all parts together: 4 kg + 12 kg + 16 kg = 32 kg.
