What do I do to simplify \(\frac{77}{84}\)?

=1/4+1/4+1/4+7/42
=3/4+7/42
=3/4+1/6
=9/12+2/12
=11/12
Or......
77÷7=11,
and 84÷7=12
Therefore 77/84=11/12.

Exactly the same as you would do to simplify any other fraction . . . divide top and bottom by their greatest common factor.
The greatest common factor of 77 and 84 is 7 .
