There are few ways to count it. One of them is:
400 miles on 15-gallon tank 400 / 15 = 26,66666666666667 miles per 1 gallon (looks weirdly but we'll get a nice result in a second) So 26,66666666666667 * 6 gallons = 160 miles
Answer: Landon's SUV can travel 160 miles on 6 gallons.

we know that
by proportion
15 400 g a ll o n s mi l es = 6 x g a ll o n s mi l es 15 ∗ x = 6 ∗ 400 x = ( 6 ∗ 400 ) /15 x = 160 mi l es
therefore
the answer is
160 mi l es

Landon can travel approximately 160 miles on 6 gallons of gas. This is calculated using the miles per gallon of his SUV, which is about 26.67 miles per gallon. By multiplying the MPG by the number of gallons, we find that he can go 160 miles on 6 gallons.
